I had a similar library job experience, and took a big risk, and quit. It just wasn't the right match for me. Quitting is not always the answer for everyone though. I actually was very lucky and got hired at a very wonderful library job here in NC. It is the most groovy job ever, and I count my blessings. I do plan to create some sort of professionally focussed blog, but I haven't come up with a theme or focus yet. I am a YA public librarian. Hope you cheer up soon.
